They are established independent professionals who work with us from time to time to fill specialist client service delivery roles. Michael Goodfellow is an Operations Management Professional, with over 15 years of
progressive experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
Michael brings proven analytical skills, an
aptitude for being able to organize large volumes of data, and the ability to
summarize information that is simple and useful for management decision making. He is known among his colleagues as a passionate, highly motivated self-starter, with strong
networking and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service

Dan Hilker is a Maintenance Management Consultant with over 18 years of experience in maintenance management, planning and scheduling, CMMS implementation, design engineering, and project management. Dan specializes in optimizing maintenance departments by using tools such as CMMS systems to improve their planning and scheduling practises. Working up the ranks from the shop floor to the management office he brings an extensive hands on approach with 21st century methodologies. Understanding the thinking of the trades he is able to make maintenance departments evolve from a style of fire fighting maintenance strategies to a proactive predictive approach.
Marek Piatkowski is a Manufacturing Consultant specializing in improving overall operational efficiencies through the effective implementation of Lean Manufacturing - Toyota Production System. Marek’s initial knowledge and expertise of Lean Manufacturing tools, methodologies and practises comes from working for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Canada. Since 1994 he has worked with numerous manufacturing plants in North America and Europe where he has a proven track record of successful implementation of Lean Manufacturing. His clients include companies specializing in automotive products, appliances, furniture, medical devices, consumer goods, packaging, plastic, glass, rubber, personal computers and electronics.
In his work he has proven that Lean is not a trend or a movement. Lean is a collection of tools, methodologies, techniques and processes, that when implemented correctly and in the right sequence, will generate measurable results, help companies reduce costs and improve overall operational efficiency. Any company venturing into a Lean Journey must consider not only changes to their manufacturing and material management practises, but also a review and modifications to their organizational structure. Marek emphasizes the organizational development and training process to achieve the business objectives and benefits that are requisite of the above improvement processes.
Marek graduated from Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo, Ontario in 1977. He is a member of John Shook’s TWI Network and a Faculty Associate of Jim Womack’s Lean Enterprise Institute. Heresides in Toronto.
Jeff Smith, CMRP has extensive experience in implementation of precision maintenance practices leading to improved equipment availability and cost effective maintenance. He has proven expertise in developing fully integrated condition monitoring systems, advanced understanding of cost effective maintenance procedures and software, he is experienced in MTA, Life Cycle Management, and Root Cause Analysis. Has a thorough understanding of condition monitoring including, Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, Thermo graphic, Ultrasonic (db, thickness and imaging), Reciprocation Monitoring, Hydraulic Mapping, and Motor Current Analysis. Jeff began his career as a heavy duty mechanic (trade qualification) with thorough knowledge of all aspects of equipment repair including advanced hydraulics and electronic control systems. Jeff works with us as a reliability consultant.
Jose Munoz Valero is a Consultant in the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Module. he is certified in SAP PM Module and hase a Masters degree in Business Administration, specializing in finance. Jose is very knowledgeable and skilled in the development of plans for the maintenance of preventative, corrective and predictive procedures for installations and assets; design of statistics of effectiveness and management. He is experienced in the analysis, design and development of automatic systems; preventative and corrective maintenance of programs and implementation of computer systems. Jose is a strong team player, flexible, proactive, decisive and an excellent communicator.
His work experience includes: • 10 full cycle implementation project experience • 10 + SAP PM Module Courses as an Instructor • Methodologies: Accelerated SAP (ASAP) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) His inudstry focus has been in the areas of oil & gas, electrical, chemicals, food, mining and the telecommunications industries.
Dr. Ali Zuashkiani has both practicaland theoretical expertise in optimizing maintenance decisions including preventive maintenance intervals, inspection frequencies, condition based maintenance, spare parts inventories, maintenance crew size and resources, retiring age of capital equipment and machinery based on Life Cycle Costing (LCC). He also has a deep familiarity with methodologies that use experts' knowledge in dealing with the above problems when there is no historical data available. Ali obtained his PhD from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto in the area of reliability and maintainability management. He is now a Post Doctoral Associate on the topic of maintenance performance management and Director of the Centre for Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Engineering (C-MORE) at the University of Toronto.
USA
Mike Johnson, CMRP is ateacher, consultant, and problem solver for machinery lubrication issues and practises with an abundance of ‘hands-on’ skill developed from many years of working in the plant environment. He has provided extensive support for organizations trying to extract reliability improvements from routine but faulty practises for Plant Lubrication, Contamination Control and Oil Analysis. Mike’s client companies range from small single plant operations to Fortune 100 multinationals, including prominent organizations such as: Coors Brewing, Ford Motors, Michelin, International Paper, Bowater Paper, Rayonier Performance Fibers, CEMEX, BuzziUnniCem USA, Texas Utilities and Electric Energy Incorporated. Mike follows a process consulting approach. His solutions are oriented toward individual client needs and constraints. Mike holds BA and MBA degrees and certifications from ICML and SMRP. He is based in Franklin, TN.
Jaime Miazoa is a senior Consultant in the areas of Asset Reliability Improvement and Business Process Management (BPM). In the last 12 years, Jaime has successfully integrated his professional experience into a process centered approach to Asset Reliability improvement. In his approach, strategic business goals, business processes, and critical assets are analyzed to ensure that business improvement projects are well designed, planned and implemented to add real value to Customers and the Organizations stakeholders.
Jaime has an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana), and he is an RCM2 Certified Practitioner, with extensive experience in Asset Management Processes, Business Process Alignment, Process Mapping, and Process Redesign using WebSphere Business Modeller tools. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Jaime has 16 years of international experience in Asset Reliability improvement and Business Process Management across multiple industries including pulp and paper, mining, pharmaceutical, oil and natural gas processing. He is based in Miami, FL.
Todhunter Weber (Bachelor in Humanities, Associate in Electronics) is a ‘hands on’ manager of people, assets, and maintenance. He develops new talent and leverages undeveloped skills to support the sustainability of business processes. His on-site process of observing an organization, making their current choices evident, and offering suggestions for new choices utilizes his extensive analytical skills in asset/maintenance management and organizational development. His approach works in any industry. Tod’s engineering, maintenance, and infrastructure education spans 30 years in union/non-union environments and complex ethnic cultures in multiple or single sites. He can orchestrate leadership and change in diverse situations and understands the politics and ethics involved. This skill set is unique and provides a solid basis for rapid change within any company. Proof of such skill was a recent engagement from 2004 to 2006 when he managed maintenance development of the largest pulp and paper site in the world. Tod uses a combination of business analysis, systems knowledge and human science to shock and rapidly change an organization's consciousness generating the desired results quickly.
Kip Williams' broad-based career has given him strong hands-on knowledge of TPM and lean maintenance integrations, constraint analysis, predictive maintenance tools, FMEA/RCFA/8Ds, union environments, crisis management, electrical control circuitry, and safety procedures. Perhaps more important is his ability to evaluate company/client maintenance needs, develop cost-effective solutions that meet those needs, and then take action to make lasting improvements. He offers his clients the ability to bring in short-term contract Subject Matter Expertise in MRO, evaluating needs, taking a “random walk” on the shop floor, getting to know the workforce and then offering value-added solutions that will show immediate profit and return on investment. Kip also offers his clients the opportunity to bring in a “fresh eyes”, third party auditor who will develop and implement the templates and formats they need to measure and audit themselves on KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) on a weekly, monthly & yearly basis. His expertise in root cause analysis, reliability best practises, and team development, as well as his leadership ability, problem solving skills, and capacity to successfully achieve objectives will contribute to the further success of all operational equipment maintenance projects undertaken by an organization. David A DeCastro (Brazil) is a president of Brasman Engenharia, Brazil. He is a registered consulting engineer with an MSc degree in mechanical engineering. David has over 25 years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering with large corporations and on-the-job training in Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and USA. He has authored over than 20 technical papers on maintenance engineering and MRO materials. For the past 10 years, David has specialized in scientific inventory control of MRO materials and spare parts. The work has involved developing and implementing innovative best practises and analytical tools to process facilities all over Brazil. David is a lecturer of post-graduation at the University of Salvador, Unifacs, Salvador, Brazil.
Reinaldo Quintero (Venezuela) is a Material Engineer graduated from Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela. He has post graduate studies in Finance, Physical Asset and Project Management from the University of Toronto and 23 years of experience in Predictive Maintenance Technologies. Reinaldo is a certified Level to III Vibration Analysis, Non Destructive Testing (Infrared, UV, Ultrasound, Eddy Current, X-Ray, Gamma Ray), Destructive Testing and Fracture failures analysis for several Industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Paper, Power Generation, Mining, Steel and Non Ferrous process metal working, Automobile and food Processing.

Gabriel Rodriguez (Chile) is a founding partner of MRQ Consultores of Santiago de Chile. He is a former consultant of PwC Consulting''s global Physical Asset Management practice servicing Spanish Speaking countries of South America. He is a certified RCM2 Practitioner and lead consultant on various Uptime implementation projects.

Geoff Walker is a leading thinker in the area of maintenance, asset management and knowledge engineering, with experience in the adoption of new techniques and technologies to capture and integrate diagnostic knowledge and asset knowledge into the maintenance and asset management process. He has helped many asset intensive organisations improve their performance in sectors including water, electricity and gas, oil and chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and drink, defence, transport, general manufacturing and the postal sector.
Geoff is a founder director of Heathgate Knowledge Engineering, prior to which he was leader of PwC’s Physical Asset Management practice throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. HKE specialises in the use of knowledge based diagnostic systems to help solve problems in complex equipment, and to avoid the problems of corporate amnesia as staff age, get promoted, retire or otherwise leave the organisation. He is also a director of Artesis LLP, bringing the benefits of sophisticated NASA developed technology to everyday use to make condition based maintenance a simple and effective approach in all sorts of industries.
South Africa
Dr. Jasper L.Coetzee, Pr.Eng., Ph.D., M.Eng. (Industrial Engineering), B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering), B.Com., G.C.C. (Mines and Works), G.C.C.(Factories), M.S.A.I.I.E., S.M.I.C.M.E.E., M.S.A.M.A., M.I.F.R.I.M., M.M.E.S.A., M.Akad.SA., has been actively involved in maintenance practice in industry for the last 30 years. He started his working life as a Millwright apprentice then studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pretoria. He received the degree B.Sc. (Eng.)(Mech.) in 1973. Following a short training period as pupil engineer, he was appointed as Assistant Resident Engineer at a major iron mine in late 1974. While in this position he had, during subsequent periods, the responsibility for the maintenance of all the various areas of the mine.
He left the mine in late 1979 to join a major petrochemical group as Resident Engineer of one of their major collieries. During this time, he was responsible for all maintenance activities, the supply of services, surface operations as well as all project engineering. From late 1982 to the middle of 1985, he was responsible for all mechanical maintenance of one of the major petrochemical plants of the same group. This was followed by a period of 2 years during which he headed the project team that designed and chose a maintenance information system for the various plants/mines of the group. He left in 1987 to set up a consultancy in the maintenance field. The main interest of his consulting work lies in the field of Maintenance Strategic Management, although he is well-known for his work in the Reliability and Failure Analysis fields. He joined the University of Pretoria in 1993 as incumbent of the Chair in Maintenance Engineering. In this (last) role, he was responsible for the administration and co-ordination of all courses in Maintenance Engineering presented by the University of Pretoria up to February 2000. He is managing director of M-Tech Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd, an organisation involved in maintenance knowledge development and transfer, maintenance consulting and maintenance analysis software manufacture and distribution. He is also a member of the board of advisers of IFRIM (International Foundation for Research in Maintenance).
Inaddition to his work in M-Tech, Dr Coetzee is also involved at the University of Johannesburg, where he presents an Internet based multi-modal Masters Degree in Maintenance Engineering.
He is also author of the widely used 450 page textbook ‘Maintenance’, which is a prescribed work at the University of Stellenbosch, the University of Johannesburg, and the Vaal University of Technology. This textbook is also used as basis in the more advanced courses of M-Tech and is used extensively by large corporations such as Anglo American and South African Breweries (SAB-Miller). Dr Coetzee is also the author of the RCM and Failure Analysis software package, M-Analyst and has published 30 papers and articles in the maintenance field.
Dr Coetzee received the individual President's Award for Maintenance Excellence from the Southern African Maintenance Association in 2004.

Ir Al-Khairi Mohd Daud P. Eng, C, Eng, MIEM, is the Principle Consultant of Faqeh Management of Selangor, Malaysia. Ir Al-Khairi started his career as a research assistant with Shell Research Centre in Thornton, United Kingdom in 1991. Later he worked in various field in engineering project, maintenance and reliability function with multinational companies in cement industries (La Farge), oil and gas sectors (Shell and Petronas), petrochemical (UCB Chemicals) and oleo chemical (ICI) plants. He had also worked in facilities management taking care of factory and high technology research and development facilities. Equipped with the experience gained in industries and passion to develop human potential in maintenance areas, Ir Al-Khairi now leads Faqeh Management, a company that specialized in reliability and maintenance management. The company envisions transforming the maintenance culture of the industry in South East Asia to world class standard. Ir Al-Khairi has produced several articles with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) Bulletin discussing reliability and maintenance culture. He is now active in promoting good maintenance culture amongst engineers in Malaysia.

Deelip
Prabhudesai is a chemical engineer having over 27 years experience in asset
management, technical consulting, projects, manufacturing and plant operations
in global companies. His work experience spans diverse industries and includes mining,
mineral processing, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, plastic
processing and flexible packaging. He has worked in senior managerial positions

etc in India. He is a leader in the
