The Electric Utilities Cost Group (EUCG) is a global benchmarking initiative of the Electric Utilities industry. 

James Reyes-Picknell, co-author of Uptime, Strategies for Excellence in Maintenance Management (2nd edition) was the keynote speaker at EUCG's semi-annual meeting in Anaheim, California, 27 March 2006.  James spoke on "Energy Information for the Future" challenging delegates to actually use the data they collect to make informed choices.  He also presented a snap-shot of RCM and its fit in the new Uptime strategy in a 2 hour seminar for the EUCG's Hydro-Power group at their conference.  Uptime will be hot of the presses and copies were shipped from the printer directly to the conference for the first public showcasing the book.  All copies of the book were sold to interested delegates fortelling huge success for this new book.
