Rotating Equipment Reliability Forum - Melbourne, Australia 4-5 Feb 2008

Marcus Evans, the international business events and information company presents its 3rd Annual Rotating Equipment Reliability Forum on 4 and 5 Feb 2008.  The event will take place at the Rendezvous Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.

The purpose of the Rotating Equipment Reliability Forum is to provide real-life best practice case studies focusing on the condition monitoring, fault analysis and maintenance of machinery resulting in an increase in plant performance. Practical examples for increasing reliability on turbines, pumps, generators, conveyors, crushers, gearboxes, bearings and motors will be examined and strategies for building a lubrication management programme will be explored. The concept of evolving your operations into an asset management model and integrating CM software with CMMS and PLC software to enable data sharing to take place for increased monitoring capabilities will also be highlighted.  Click here for the event brochure.  Click here for our link to the conference website.

This is the third annual Rotating Equipment Management conference. Last year’s event had over 50 delegates and the 2005 conference had over 70 delegates in attendance.  Marcus Evans is building on that success in 2008.

James Reyes-Picknell, co-author of the 2nd edition of "Uptime, Strategies for Excellence in Maintenance Management" will present a half day workshop entitled, "Optimizing Predictive Maintenance (PdM) for Rotating Equipment".  James' book, Uptime, is already a best-seller.  All delegates to the event will receive a copy at the event.
